What is a First Edition Book?
In publishing terms, a first edition book is all copies that were printed from the same setting of type as when first published. The book is only described as a second edition if significant changes are made to the copy. In collecting terms, a general definition of 1st edition book would be a work's first commercially available appearance in book form, printed with the original setting of type. The first time a publisher releases a new book, all copies of that book printed without major changes can be considered a first edition book.

Alfred Morgan's wife, in memoriam of him, 1889-1972.
The above list is my entire collection, and I'm certain there were more
radio books that Morgan wrote, that I'm not aware of. Please add any
information that would add to, or be additional to my list.
Many of us started out, and grew-up with Morgan, and his great
publications. His books were checked-out of the library by me, more
than any-other books. I'm so lucky to have the very books listed in
'5 thru 8', that I checked out of the Bookmobile, that came to our school.
I found them at a local book store in Vancouver, WA where I live, just
shortly after the library liquidated them in the middle '80s.
A.P. Morgan was a great author, and I'll bet a great guy.
