– Go to Applications (or Main Menu) > Accessories > Screenlets.
– Click Install, select Install Screenlet and click OK.
– Browse to the folder, select the file downloaded and click “Open” to install the screenlet into the Screenlets Manager.
– Select the screenlet “WaterMark” and click “Launch/Add”. (Tips: you can add more than one WaterMark screenlet and set it to display other system information.)
More screenlets are available for installation from screenlets.org.
However the upstream repo is dead (clicking Get more Screenlets in screenlets-manager leads to an unrelated website), so now one can only get the individual screenlets from Screenlets PPA. Sorry, too much work for me to convert all these packages to the Slackware format, additionally there can be security issues doing so.
So as far as I am in concern you won't get these screenlets in Slackware

As a starting point, look in your Linux distro's package manager. The beauty of using your distro's package manager to get and install Screenlets is that the process involved is hands-off.
